Welcome to SUN SOLAR, operated by Sun Electronic Industries. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, enquiries, quotations, product supply, Government and institutional requirements, installation, service and other transactions with SUN SOLAR. By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About SUN SOLAR

SUN SOLAR is a brand operated by Sun Electronic Industries, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh.

We provide solar lighting products and project solutions including Solar Street Lights, Multi-Arm Solar Street Lights, Solar Flood Lights, Solar High Mast solutions, GI poles and related solar lighting systems.

2. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, technical information, photographs and other information displayed on this website are accurate.

However, product design, appearance, component specifications, availability and configuration may be updated or changed from time to time.

Website information should not be considered a final contractual technical specification unless it is specifically confirmed in an official quotation, purchase order, agreement or invoice.

3. Product Specifications

Solar lighting systems may be supplied in different configurations according to project requirements.

Final specifications may include variations in:

  • Solar panel capacity
  • Battery capacity and technology
  • Controller configuration
  • Pole height and diameter
  • Mounting structure

The final approved specification stated in the quotation, purchase order or supply document will prevail.

4. Prices

Prices displayed on the website, where shown, are indicative unless clearly stated otherwise.

Prices may change depending on:

  • Transportation
  • Installation
  • Civil foundation work
  • Project location
  • Applicable taxes and statutory charges
  • Market price changes
Important: The final price applicable to an order will be the price confirmed in the official SUN SOLAR quotation, work order, purchase order, invoice or other accepted commercial document.

5. Quotations

A quotation issued by SUN SOLAR is normally valid only for the validity period mentioned in that quotation.

If no validity period is specifically mentioned, pricing may be reconfirmed before acceptance or supply.

A quotation does not by itself constitute confirmation of an order until the order is accepted by SUN SOLAR.

6. Government & Institutional Supply

Government Departments, Gram Panchayats, Municipalities, Institutions and other public bodies may submit their requirements through our website or directly to SUN SOLAR.

Submission of a Government Supply request through the website is an enquiry or requirement submission and does not automatically create a binding Government purchase order.

Supply will be processed according to the applicable:

  • Purchase Order
  • Work Order
  • Sanction or approval
  • Gram Panchayat Resolution, where applicable
  • Approved technical specifications
  • Agreed commercial terms
  • Applicable Government procedures

7. Order Acceptance

SUN SOLAR reserves the right to accept or decline an enquiry or order where necessary due to product availability, technical feasibility, pricing errors, transportation limitations, documentation issues or other reasonable business considerations.

An order is considered confirmed only after acceptance by SUN SOLAR and completion of any agreed documentation or payment requirements.

8. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be as specified in the relevant quotation, purchase order, work order or agreement.

Where advance payment is required, production, procurement or dispatch may begin only after receipt of the agreed payment.

For Government Departments and institutions, payment terms may be governed by the applicable purchase order and approved departmental procedure.

9. Delivery & Transportation

Delivery timelines provided by SUN SOLAR are reasonable estimates based on product availability, manufacturing, procurement and transportation conditions.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances including transportation delays, weather conditions, supplier delays, natural events, Government restrictions or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Freight and transportation charges will be as stated in the quotation or agreed order terms.

10. Inspection of Material

Customers or authorized representatives should inspect the supplied material at the time of delivery wherever reasonably possible.

Any visible shortage, transportation damage or incorrect material should be reported to SUN SOLAR promptly with supporting photographs or documents.

11. Installation

Installation is included only when specifically mentioned in the quotation, purchase order or work order.

Where installation is not included, the customer is responsible for appropriate installation in accordance with applicable technical requirements.

Civil foundation work, excavation, electrical work, transport of poles and site preparation may be charged separately unless specifically included.

12. Site Conditions

The customer or concerned authority is responsible for providing reasonable access to the installation site.

Project timelines may be revised where site conditions prevent safe or proper installation.

Such conditions may include:

  • Unavailable installation locations
  • Underground utilities
  • Road access restrictions
  • Rocky or unsuitable soil
  • Flooding or severe weather
  • Permission or clearance delays
  • Unsafe working conditions

13. Warranty

Warranty will apply according to the warranty terms stated for the specific product or project.

Different system components may carry different warranty periods. The warranty stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, warranty document or purchase order will prevail.

Warranty generally does not cover damage caused by:

  • Accident or physical damage
  • Improper installation by unauthorized persons
  • Unauthorized modification or repair
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Theft or vandalism
  • Natural disasters
  • Lightning or abnormal external conditions
  • Damage caused by third parties

14. Service & Repair

Service requests may be submitted through our website or official contact channels.

Warranty status, site location, installation date, product condition and availability of replacement parts may be verified before service is provided.

Non-warranty repairs, transportation, replacement parts and site visits may be chargeable.

15. Cancellation

Order cancellation will be considered according to the stage of processing and the specific commercial terms of the order.

Orders involving customized products, fabricated poles, project-specific configurations, specially procured components or completed manufacturing may not be eligible for cancellation after production or procurement has commenced.

16. Returns

Returns are accepted only where specifically approved by SUN SOLAR and subject to the applicable order conditions.

Customized or project-specific materials generally cannot be returned unless there is a verified manufacturing defect, incorrect supply or another condition accepted by SUN SOLAR.

17. Photographs & Product Images

Product photographs shown on the website are intended to provide a general representation of the product.

Minor variations in body design, mounting arrangement, colour, labels or components may occur without affecting the agreed functional specification.

18. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content associated with SUN SOLAR, including company branding, original text, layouts, graphics and marketing material, may not be copied or commercially reproduced without authorization.

Third-party trademarks, product names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

19. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, hosting issues, technical problems or system updates.

20. Limitation of Liability

SUN SOLAR will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform where caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, severe weather, strikes, transportation disruption, Government restrictions, supply-chain interruptions or similar events.

22. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable laws of India.

Any dispute will be subject to the competent legal jurisdiction applicable to the relevant transaction, unless a separate agreement or Government purchase order specifies otherwise.

23. Changes to These Terms

SUN SOLAR may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in products, services, business practices or legal requirements.
